The Tee Sheet is run by The Saturday Game. It helps golfers plan their season of Met-area tournaments. We collect only what we need to run it, we don't sell your information, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Your Google sign-in. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, Google account ID and profile picture link. We don't get your Google password, and we don't ask for access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
- Your profile. What you choose to enter: display name, Handicap Index, home ZIP code and home club.
- Your plan. The events you add, the qualifying sites you pick, your entry status (planned, registered, waitlist) and any notes.
- Club events you add. If you import a club calendar file, it is read in your browser and only the events you choose to keep (title, dates, location, notes) are saved.
- Membership details. If you join, Stripe handles the payment. We receive and store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, membership status and renewal date. We never see or store your card number.
- Calendar link. Members who turn on calendar sync get a private link. We store the random code in that link so your calendar app can fetch your plan.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the service running and secure. Your browser stores a sign-in cookie and a few settings, like your last Find filters, on your device.
How we use it
- To run the service: show your plan, flag date clashes, estimate drive times from your ZIP, filter events by your Handicap Index, and keep your calendar in sync.
- To manage memberships, including renewals and cancellations.
- To send you messages about your account and, if you turn them on, alerts about events on your plan.
- To fix problems, prevent abuse and improve The Tee Sheet.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run The Tee Sheet for us, and only what each one needs:
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Google: sign-in.
- Stripe: payments and membership billing. Stripe may act as the seller of record for your purchase and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
- An email delivery provider, once we start sending alerts.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the safety or rights of our users or the public, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. In that case this policy would still apply to your information.
Google user data
We use the information we receive from Google sign-in only to create and secure your account and show your name and email in the app. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Tournament information
Event dates, qualifying sites and entry details come from the public websites of golf associations and clubs. That information isn't personal data. Your own plan is private: other golfers can't see what you've added or your entry status.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time with Delete my account on your Profile. That erases your profile, plan, club events, membership record and calendar link right away. If you email us instead, we'll do it within 30 days. Server logs expire on their own, and payment and tax records may be kept longer where the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and change your profile and plan at any time in the app.
- You can turn off calendar sync by resetting your calendar link, and cancel a membership with Manage membership on your Profile.
- You can delete your account yourself with Delete my account on your Profile. If you have a membership set to renew, cancel it first.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing hello@saturdaygamegolf.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We'll honor them.
Security
Your data is stored with access controls so each account can only reach its own plan, and all connections use encryption (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your Google account secure and your calendar link private.
Children
The Tee Sheet isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Junior golfers 13 to 17 should use it with a parent or guardian's permission.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and let members know by email or in the app.
